The Wyvern Theatre is situated in the town centre 10 minutes from the M4 (junctions 15 or 16) and the A419 and A420.
Follow the signs to the town centre and when approaching the Magic Roundabout you will pick up the signs to the Wyvern Theatre.
Car Parking
Wyvern Multi-Story Closed
Swindon Borough Council have now demolished the Wyvern multi-storey car park. The Princes St open air car park has now re-opened. Princes St car park is free of charge on Sundays.
Recommended Car Parks
The Wyvern has several other car parks within easy walking distance including the Whalebridge multi-storey, which is further down Islington Street and Regent Circus car park.
If you require easy access to the theatre, we recommend using the Whalebridge/Wyvern Short Stay Car Park car park and entering through the side pod if you are sitting in the stalls. If you are sitting in the circle or boxes or coming to the restaurant, we recommend you use Regent Circus car park and enter through the main doors in Theatre Square.

Whalebridge Car Park
Evening rates after 6pm are £1.00 for up to two hours and £2.00 for over two hours at Whalebridge.
The Whalebridge Car Park is free of charge on Sundays.
Wyvern Short Stay Car Park
Evening rates after 6pm are £1.00 for up to two hours and £2.00 for over two hours at Wyvern Short Stay Car Park.
The Wyvern Short Stay Car Park is free of charge on Sundays.
Regent Circus
Regent Circus has a total of 450 spaces, split across two well-lit and secure car parks, just steps away from the Wyvern Theatre.
There is a dedicated leisure car park facility on the same level as the restaurant and cinema arcade; follow signs to the Cinema Car Park from the main roads. This car park has two tariffs – one for 08:00-18:00 and one for post 18:00.

Blue Badge Parking
Please note - parking for patrons with blue badges will remain available adjacent to the Wyvern in Regent Close car park.

Train
Swindon train station is just a 10 minute stroll through the town centre to the Theatre which is situated at the top of the town. For more detailed information about travelling by train, click here.
Bus
Swindon Bus Station and the main bus stops on Fleming Way are a short walk through the town centre to the Theatre which is situated at the top of the town.
Certain routes also call at the nearest bus stop to the Wyvern on Princes Street, at either the Civic Offices or Regent Circus.

Swindon Arts Centre is situated in Swindon’s Old Town, a short drive from the M4 (junctions 15 or 16) and the A419 and A420.
Parking
Britannia Place car park (postcode SN1 3RA, adjacent to the Co-Op car park) is situated behind the Arts Centre and is just a short walk away. Please be aware that this car park can get very busy, especially on weekend evenings, so please allow plenty of time to find a space. Alternatively, Prospect Place car park (postcode SN1 3LQ) is a 5 minute walk away and situated just off Victoria Hill.
