SHOW INFORMATION

Comedy, comedy, comedy, comedy. That’s what we’ve got for you at our wonderful comedy club. This month features Tom Glover, Yuriko Kotani and Emmanuel Sonubi.*

*line-up is subject to change.

Tom Glover

Loveable West Country favourite Tom Glover is a highly sought-after act and MC, capable of bringing laughter to any room. Tom combines tales of fatherhood and country living with hilarious observational routines on daily life.

His infectious personality and playful approach make him an instant hit with audiences, however Tom is perhaps best known for his excellent crowd work and quick wit that have earned him a number of regular compere roles at major venues across the South West. He’s had two successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with split shows and is currently working on his debut solo show A Glover not a Fighter, which was nominated for 'Best New Show' at the Leicester Comedy Festival this year.

His interaction with the crowd is perfect. An ability to create great mental images… great ad-libbed jokes. There is a strong future for this fresh-faced comic Ed Fringe Review

Yuriko Kotani

Yuriko Kotani

Yuriko Kotani is an award-winning UK-based Japanese comedian. She began performing stand-up in 2014, was named as 'One To Watch' by Time Out and won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2015. She’s appeared on Series 2 of Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, BBC Three’s Pls Like in 2017, and CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework in 2018.

Leftfield rising star Time Out

Emmanuel Sonubi

Emmanuel Sonubi

London-based Emmanuel Sonubi has only been on the comedy circuit for what feels like five minutes and he’s already garnering himself a reputation as one to watch out for.

The ex-bouncer was born and bred in North London where he extracts most of his hilarious interactions with the vibrant cockney and reprobates he’s encountered. Now, as a father of two, he has a wealth of material of playing pranks with his kids as well as his questionable parenting skills.

A new talent at the door of stand-up, his name’s down and he’s definitely coming in Russell Kane, comedian
