The Interlinear of Cabeza de Vaca by Haniel Long

Soldier, survivor, slave, shamen. “This is the tale of what men can and cannot do when they must do something or die”. The conquistador, Cabeza De Vaca, shipwrecked in Florida in 1528, addresses his king, telling how he was lost, saved, enslaved, and finally became a healer to the tribes who helped him find his way back to so-called civilisation eight years later. A true story told by local actor, Tom Morris, with live double bass accompaniment, composed and performed by Gavin Irvine.

Tales of Lust & Chocolate

Darkly delicious Story Cabaret bursting with bittersweet love and dangerous desires. May include a porcelain man, a strangely attractive French werewolf – and the woman for whom one was not enough! From Scottish seashore to the back streets of Casablanca. Fuelled by traditional story, flirting with contemporary and original tales, fabulously funny and hot off the tongue unscripted.

Chloë of the Midnight Storytellers is a high energy performer who boldly takes live storytelling where it’s never gone before. She collects stories, old and original, wherever she travels and is passionate about evolving spoken word story to entertain 21st century audiences. Her favourite chocolate is kirsch soaked cherry in a dark shell.
