PEGGY SEEGER – on the First Time Ever… in conversation, with us!

Singer of traditional Anglo-American songs, with more than 200 hundred in her repertoire, one a major anthem of the women’s movement, and 23 solo albums; activist and multi-instrumentalist, playing piano, guitar, 5-string banjo, dulcimer, autoharp and concertina; and holder of honorary doctorates in Art from the universities of Salford and Oxford, Peggy Seeger, whose childhood was steeped in music and politics, both of which remain her lifeblood, has now written her memoir, First Time Ever.
