JOHN TUSA – on getting it right, getting it wrong, and Making a Noise!

Founding presenter of BBC’s Newsnight, former Managing Director of BBC World Services and the Barbican Centre, President of Wolfson College, Cambridge, co-chairman of the European Union Youth Orchestra, veteran broadcaster and author of Art Matters and Pain in the Arts, John Tusa has fought a few verbal battles in defence of the arts, culture and the integrity of universities.

In his newly-published memoir, Making a Noise, etched with candour and humour, he recounts the challenges he’s faced in his attempts to get things right.
